Video Content for #Eventprofs

Since the advent of smartphones, the days of relying solely on professionals to record and capture an event has passed. Videographers and photographers aren’t always compatible with an event professional’s budget or they just don’t have the time to wait around for the edited footage. Not to mention the amount of time event professionals spend researching videographers and then communicating and booking the right fit for an event.

Photos, videos, and conversations surrounding an event need to be in a reasonable time frame, if not immediately. People are living in the “now” and want to experience and be a part of something when it’s happening - not at a delay. This way they can share their experience with others and relive it, see what they missed, or simply see things from another person’s perspective.

Mobile apps and technology have evolved rapidly over the last few years, as video content has become a more effective form of content sharing. With that trend, comes many free services that an event professional can utilize for low-cost video recording and content sharing.
