INTERNATIONAL HOUSEWARES ASSOCIATION SELECTS UNGERBOECK AS ITS EVENT MANAGEMENT SOLUTION

The International Housewares Association (IHA), representing more than 1,700 member companies and sponsors of the International Home + Housewares Show, the industry’s premier event and 14th largest trade show in the United States, has selected Ungerboeck as its event management solution.
Dean P. Kurtis, Vice President of Finance and Information Technology of the IHA, commented, “As we look to further the mission of our members, we needed to replace the homegrown membership and exhibit system that had become the backbone of our organization.”
The International Home + Housewares Show attracts more than 2,100 exhibitors and 60,000 attendees every year, creating a marketplace for sellers to showcase their products to interested buyers.
“We wanted a turnkey system that will provide IHA with streamlined operations to increase productivity and improved reporting with data analytics,” Kurtis explained.
Kurtis and the team, after exhaustively evaluating all their options, identified Ungerboeck as the superior platform, best suited to meet their overall needs. Ungerboeck replaces a custom in-house solution IHA has relied on for 18 years.
