The 2015 Ungerboeck EMEA Conference united users from Europe, Middle East and Africa in Leipzig, Germany
The 2015 Ungerboeck EMEA Conference took place from March 15-18, 2015 at the Porsche Leipzig GmbH in Germany and united users from Europe, Middle East and Africa.
With Ungerboeck’s latest version 20.8 released at the beginning of March, the conference offered a rich educational program on the new version and gave conference attendees a detailed insight on how they can benefit the most from new features and enhancements in the software.
The conference venue perfectly matched the event theme “Accelerate Your Impact”. Attendees had the opportunity to take an exclusive ride in a Porsche Panamera and experience the unique acceleration of the famous sports car. Furthermore, they had the chance to take a look behind the scenes and participate in a guided tour of the Porsche factory where some of the cars are being produced.
For the 2015 conference, Ungerboeck introduced a new educational session format where clients had the possibility to attend exclusive sessions on different topics in version 20. The “Ungerboeck Training Academy” offered dedicated sessions on topics such as exhibitor sales and show management or advanced registration configuration.
In addition, Mark Carter, Head of Business Services at the Jockeyclub Racecourses, presented their experiences with version 20, and Maryann Smith, Conference Officer at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), presented how they organize scientific conferences with Ungerboeck using the registration capabilities.
Thorsten Kolbinger, Managing Director EMEA, sums up a successful conference: “The sessions were received very well and everyone was amazed by the unique conference venue. Porsche did an amazing job in accompanying our conference theme and contributed to a great conference success.”
During the Closing Presentation of the conference, Thorsten Kolbinger announced the date for the 2016 event. The 2016 Ungerboeck EMEA Conference will take place from March 13-16, 2016 in Stuttgart, Germany.
