I am excited and looking forward to working with our customers to help them improve their businesses by utilizing Ungerboeck to its fullest potential.

I am passionate about the industry, the importance of events both economically and socially for a city/region and the variety that the industry offers. Every day is different, full of new exciting things and new challenges.
I am thrilled to continue to support the industry, helping our clients to make planning and delivering events much easier, through use of the software.
What have been the lessons you’ve learned in the events industry?
Expect the unexpected! There are so moving parts that go into making an event happen. It takes a village! Over the years I have had to deal with earthquakes, a fire, missed flights, broken musical instruments, protests, stressed clients, missing freight, venue systems not working and much, much more.
What relationships have meant the most to you over your career?
Relationships with my team. It is so valuable for high-functioning teams to have a good working relationship with each other, to bounce ideas, share & learn from challenges and ultimately have fun working with as these are people who understand and can provide advice and support as required. I have been so lucky both in previous jobs and this one that I am part of a team of true professionals and it is a true privilege to work in these teams.

When you think of the future of the events industry, what do you think will be the “next thing” we will all be talking about?
- Sustainability with a big environmental push – clients will start requiring their suppliers to show their green credentials
- Focus on diversity
- Technology – big push for innovations within venues and events, modern technologies, high-speed internet everywhere, screens and using data to develop more individual and custom experiences for event attendees and clients.
What advice would you have for someone going into the events industry?
Learn to walk before you run. You never stop learning and don’t be afraid to ask questions and ask for help.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I enjoy baking – and have some amazing recipes
