Ungerboeck EMEA Conference 2018 Convinced With Manifold Programme, Innovation and an Engaging Conference Experience at Disneyland® Paris

Annual conference for Europe, Africa and Middle East has taken place in Disneyland® Paris with focus on new products, collaboration and GDPR

Karlsruhe, Germany (April 30, 2018) – The Ungerboeck EMEA Conference 2018 has taken place from April 15-17 at Disneyland® Paris in France. Discover, Connect, Transform - the conference program was based around this theme and offered sessions to discover new products and features of Ungerboeck, sessions to connect with industry peers, product managers and like-minded users of the software and sessions aimed at enabling transformation and facing challenges of the industry.

Manish Chandak, CEO and president of Ungerboeck kicked off the conference with his opening keynote followed by highlights of the new release v20.93, first looks into new products and an overview of the Ungerboeck roadmap. “We put a lot of energy into the new release and the new products with a huge focus on GDPR compatibility and customer-facing applications,” says Manish Chandak.

With GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliance deadline approaching fast on May 25, the conference offered sessions to help prepare customers for the new regulations. A case study enhanced customers’ understanding of how to adjust for GDPR, including how to identify and review the current data touchpoints at which their organizations collect and store personal data. Lucie Heymann, Executive Director Operations EMEA explains “We have always considered data protection a priority and GDPR is no different. GDPR is a shared responsibility among Ungerboeck and our customers. As their software provider, we are ensuring that our platform includes functionalities to help our clients comply with the new regulations.”

Two new customer-facing products were introduced at the Ungerboeck EMEA Conference further enabling the Ungerboeck community to offer amazing experiences to their customers through digitized processes. The Ungerboeck Event Planner Portal allows venues and event planners to communicate and collaborate during the event sales and planning process. The portal elevates the customer experience by not only simplifying communications and file sharing but also providing task management to keep everyone informed and on track. The new Ungerboeck Session Proposal offers an end-to-end solution for managing session and abstract proposals from the initial submission through selection and all the way to attendee agendas.

The integration of DocuSign with the Ungerboeck platform was another hot topic discussed at the conference, empowering customers to transform even more of their business processes by going fully digital. As the global standard for Digital Transaction Management (DTM) and eSignature, DocuSign is changing how business gets done by allowing anyone to transact anytime, anywhere, on any device - 100% digitally - with trust and confidence. The integration with DocuSign enables the organizations in the events industry around the globe to close business faster with Ungerboeck.
