Ungerboeck Powers Fieldays 2021 at Mystery Creek

Fieldays 2021 was the second biggest in the agriculture trade show’s 53-year history, with 132,776 people attending over four days and over 1,000 exhibitors spread across 47 hectares.

To successfully coordinate the delivery of the event and manage exhibitors, the New Zealand National Fieldays Society (NZNFS) leveraged multiple solutions from within the Ungerboeck platform.

“After moving Fieldays online in 2020, we were thrilled to be able to organise the event in-person again this year. Ungerboeck has been instrumental in helping successfully manage our exhibitors and ensure a smooth organisation, while significantly reducing the level of administrative work,” said Abbie Jansen, Customer Support Manager at NZNFS.

NZNFS used the Ungerboeck Exhibitor Portal to manage all aspects of their exhibition planning, providing exhibitors with a one-stop shop where they could apply to exhibit, select which booth they wanted to secure through the interactive floor plan, and purchase any additional items they needed for the event. The experience is fully managed through the Ungerboeck platform from the initial registration all the way through to invoicing. Thanks to a high level of automation, the administrative work has been significantly reduced, allowing the team at NZNFS to focus on more important tasks ahead of the event.

“No other solution on the market compares to the level of customization that Ungerboeck offers. We have a lot of different pricing models and customer categories that we need to take into consideration for Fieldays. Ungerboeck is the only platform that allows us to segment our customer and pricing list the way we need it to be,” added Jansen.

With over 100 exhibitor categories, NZNFS needed a solution that would enable the creation of dedicated forms, pricing lists, and options tailored to each of those categories. With Ungerboeck, the team at NZNFS was able to rapidly filter exhibitors in the Ungerboeck CRM and utilize the data for re-marketing purposes, upselling products, and analytics.

“The level of data we capture with Ungerboeck has significantly improved our reporting capabilities. We are able to generate valuable reports for our boards and analyze the performance of the event to improve year over year.”

After the huge success of Fieldays 2021, NZNFS is now looking at ways to further utilize the Ungerboeck platform to deliver an even better experience to their internal users, exhibitors, and contractors next year.
